McCune, Abby - Newton. 1868

I, Abby McCune of Newton Township County of Cumberland and State of Pennsylvania being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

And first - I direct that all of my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon after my decease as reasonably may be.

Item - I do hereby give and devise to my friend Daniel S. Lindsey and to his heirs and assings forever All my shares, part or interest of, in, to or out of all that certain plantation a tract of land sutuate in Newtown Township aforesaid bounded by lands of Hugh B. McCune and others (being late the estae of my father Samuel McCune deceased, and on which I now reside, containing more of less.

Item - I do hereby give and bequeath all teh rest and residue of my estate to my sister Rebecca McCune.

And lastly I do nominate and appoint my brother Samuel McCune of said township of Newtown Executor of this my last will and testament, in testimony whereof I, the said Abby McCune the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty seventh da February A. D. One thousand eight hundred and sixty eight.

Signed dealed published and declared by Abby McCune the testator to be her last will and testament in the presence of us who in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto at her request.
